Jonathan Davis’ Wife Died Of An Overdose
The death of Korn singer Jonathan Davis‘ wife, Deven Davis, was caused by a drug overdose according to the coroner’s report.
According to the report, Davis overdosed on a mixture of five drugs, including cocaine, heroin, clonazepam/Klonopin, topiramate and fluoxetine.
Found dead on August 17 in a hotel room in Bakersfield, California, Davis reportedly had an ongoing struggle with addiction for nearly 20 years.
Jonathan described Davis as “an amazing wife, amazing mother and amazing friend” who was suffering from “a very serious mental illness” in a statement on social media at the time of her death.
The singer, who married Davis in 2004, had two children with her, Pirate and Zeppelin, whose custody he requested and won after their divorce in 2016. In the declaration, he claimed that Davis had been around their children while under the influence and that she had an affair with a drug-dealing boyfriend, whom the singer saw on many occasions.
