Penélope Cruz sets pulses racing in a VERY sultry photoshoot as she slams men no longer being able to compliment women in the current climate

She is one of the most recognisable names in Hollywood 

And Penélope Cruz, 45, demonstrated that she only gets better with age as she sizzled for sultry shoot for the August issue of Tatler.

Proving to be unapologetically sexy, the Spanish actress sent temperatures soaring in a slew of edgy ensembles as she discussed a man’s inability to compliment a woman in today’s day and age.

In one snap, Penelope looked incredible as she flaunted her perfect figure in a clingy cut-out Versace dress which was help together with lavish gold safety pins.

Her striking features were enhanced with a glamorous coat of make-up, complete with smokey eyeshadow and a contoured base, while her effortlessly blowdry cascaded behind her. 

In another edgy shot, she teamed a biker jacket with a pair of black underwear and sheer rights as she posed away sexily for the camera. 

Expressing her thoughts in the interview, Penelope proved thankful for the ever-increasing fight against gender inequality – however, revealed she thought sometimes it can go too far.

‘For us to be commenting, “oh, no, in 2019, you cannot say a woman looks good?” Are we f***ing crazy?’ 

Meanwhile, Penelope has mostly remained tight-lipped about the secrets behind her nearly ten-year marriage to husband Javier Bardem.

And explaining why, the American Crime Story actress explained it was ‘a really good decision for us, not to talk about our relationship. It would feel very strange to do it a different way. I just couldn’t do it.’

Speaking about her thirst for learning outside of her acting endeavours, the brunette detailed: ‘I read a lot and in the last few years it’s all been books about medicine, about nutrition, about parenting, about hormones.’

Further detailing her interest in hormones, Penelope revealed: “Hormones rule the world. There are times in the life of a woman that have to be acknowledged, and understood and called by their name. 

‘There are too many taboos surrounding women’s bodies and I think it equals a big lack of respect. You might be thinking, “What is the relationship between hormones and respect?” 

‘It’s completely related. Words like “period”, “post-partum depression”, “menopause”. Even today, those words, you bring them up at a dinner table, everybody gets nervous. Even if it’s a group of women, if men are also at the table, the energy gets very nervous,’ she noted. 

Penelope did go on to note that there was ‘improvement’ in the way the top is now being views, but ‘it’s only the beginning.’

Penelope will next be seen in the movie Pain and Glory alongside Antonio Banderas.
