Damon Harrison has new Mike Francesa feud: ‘Senile old man’
Whom did Mike Francesa like in the Giants locker room?
In recent weeks, the WFAN host revealed the reason for his personal vendetta against Odell Beckham, applauded the controversial decision to part with Landon Collins, and on Thursday said the Giants traded Damon “Snacks” Harrison away because he was a locker room lawyer.
No word from Beckham or Collins on how they feel about Francesa, but Harrison did not hold back.
“Can’t listen to that senile old man,” Harrison, now on the Lions, tweeted Thursday. “His tone has changed since he paid me 4K to sign autographs for his kids. Ppl change up quick for no reason. You can ask any of my teammates about me. His kids need to put him in a nursing home.”
It’s not the first time Harrison and Francesa have sparred. Early in the 2017 season, Francesa ranted on WFAN about the defensive tackle not talking to the media after a loss.
“Those players in [the Giants locker room] are not under control right now,” Francesa said at the time, which was quickly followed by a Harrison response. “You got Snacks, who was previously a good guy, not talking to the media from what I understand, after a couple games, after one game.
“After last year, everybody, everybody lauded his play, absolutely just heralded this guy who came from nowhere to become a first-team All-Pro because of his brilliant play against the run, and this year, when that team, led by him, is not making tackles and is getting bulldozed, now he’s — now he’s not talking?”
