Friday's racing tips: Three longshots to fill your pockets at Newcastle and Hexham
We've picked out some horses that look over-priced and should go close at big odds.
Hexham 3.15 – Hattons Hill
A leap of faith to say the least, but if back on his game this course specialist looks worth an each way shot.
He picked up five on the trot here last season and hopefully a break after a string of no finishes can have him back firing.
He's won off a pound higher before and has won over course and distance in a better grade. Any support in the market will be music to your ears before the off.
Newcastle 5.15 – Trevithick
This three-year-old has lost his way lately but a return to the all weather has been on the cards for a while.
His form there reads much better and he's come in under the radar here due to those uninspiring recent form figures.
He's still lightly raced and on his two visits to the track has finished second to Without Parole and won over course and distance on his other.
Newcastle 7.15 – Totally Magic
Another under the lights and another that likes it at the track.
Last run here was arguably good enough to take a race like this and the handicapper has trimmed off another pound.
A couple shorter in the market are of clear interest but this six-year-old should be plenty shorter than she is.
