Liverpool injury news: Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk declared fit for Huddersfield clash after training in full

Both star men picked up injuries while away on international duty but are set to start Saturday evening's game at the John Smith's Stadium.

Salah was struggling with a muscular problem, while Van Dijk was thought to have broken ribs for Holland.

However, Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is set to be without Sadio Mane and Naby Keita after the pair also sustained knocks during the international break.

Mane required surgery on his hand and could return to action immediately – depending on his level of discomfort.

Meanwhile, Keita is arguably the biggest concern after being carried off by team-mates while on Guinea duty.

With Keita almost certainly ruled out and James Milner also nursing a hamstring injury, Klopp has been handed one major boost.

Adam Lallana has been working hard during the international fortnight to get back out on the pitch.

The former Southampton man has been in full training for three weeks following a series of injuries.

His return could prove timely and may even make the bench – with Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum other midfield options.
