NFL star Leonard Fournette threatens fan during match 'who shouted racist abuse at him from stands'

The Jacksonville Jaguars running back was subjected to chants while on the losing team as the Tennessee Titans beat them 30-9.

TMZ released footage of Fournette being held back by team-mates in a confrontation with members of the crowd.

Fournette, 23, was dropped by his team last month for reportedly missing the team's photo.

But this latest incident — involving an alleged racist slur from 'fans' — has led to support from head coach Doug Morrone.

It comes after a Chelsea fan was caught on camera yelling abuse at Premier League star Raheem Sterling, for which he is being investigated over alleged racist abuse.

Team-mate TJ Yeldon said: "Did I hear it? Yeah!

"All the running backs and people on the offensive side were hearing the exchange.

"They were heckling us all game, at him and all of us all game.

"All night. All night. All day they were calling us racial slurs, all game."

Second-season NFL star Fournette was also dropped last season for week nine after disciplinary issues.

Footage from the game also emerged of Fournette delivering his towel to a young fan in the stands during the game.
