Twitter users think Aaron Ramsey's agent should negotiate Brexit after agreeing £400k-a-week Juventus deal
The Welshman is set to quit the Gunners on a free this summer and his reported package would beyond team-mate Mesut Ozil into eighth in the world for earnings.
BBC Sport are reporting that Ramsey, 28, passed two medicals with Juventus in January before being offered a four-year contract in Turin.
The playmaker was due to sign a new deal with Arsenal with significantly lower terms but the offer was pulled by club chiefs who will now lose him for nothing.
Latest reports mean Ramsey's deal will make him the world’s eighth best-paid player and fans believe his agent has proven his credentials to be put in charge of Brexit.
Twitter user Glen Garrett wrote: "Aaron Ramsey could afford to pay for Kane, Alli's and Eriksen's weekly wages… his agent should negotiating Brexit."
Another posted: "Aaron Ramsey’s agent could sort out Brexit, peace in the Middle East and definitively confirm whether a Jaffa Cake is a cake or a biscuit."
User Saul Nero called on Theresa May to recruit Ramsey's agent to help with Brexit while other fans asked the Queen to knight him.
Ramsey joined from Cardiff in 2008 and has made over 300 appearances but Gary Neville believes he was shown the exit door so Unai Emery could "transform the club."
He said: "Having said (Arsenal are improving), Emery needs four or five transfer windows to get things right.
"It does not surprise me that Mesut Ozil and Aaron Ramsey are on the way out.
"Emery wants players that can transform the club so he has to be able to ship players out, to be able to correct things.
"It is like a cultural shift, a big mentality shift. But he needs to do that and needs time."
Emery hopes Denis Suarez could be Ramsey's long-term replacement after the Spanish ace joined on loan with a view to making the move permanent in the summer.
