‘Drunk’ Ryanair passenger booted off plane for ‘abusing hen do and staff’ in shock footage
Video footage of the bloke, who is believed to have been on a stag do, shows him confronting a Portuguese police officer.
It was uploaded to Twitter and shows the man slapping his hand when the policeman touched him.
Eventually the cop forces the passenger off the plane, slapping the back of his neck as he ushers him down the aisle.
The man was said to have been verbally abusive on the Ryanair flight from Dublin to Faro, in Portugal, on May 2.
He can be heard saying “what is happening” while police ask him where his luggage is.
Deborah Martin, who filmed the incident, told the Daily Mail: “One guy was out of his mind. He was screaming and shouting and being abusive.
“He didn’t know his own name, he didn’t understand what was going on when the police arrive, he didn’t know where his boarding pass was, he was comatose.
“But they had their own stash of drink so he still had a plastic cup in his hand and was downing it in one go. He had about four drinks as we were coming into land.”
“One guy was out of his mind. He was screaming and shouting and being abusive…”
It is claimed the man had been downing vodka mixed with Red Bull during the flight.
He was then said to have been abusive to a hen party and argued with crew members on the plane, The Daily Mail reports.
A Ryanair spokesman said: “This flight from Dublin to Faro (May 2) requested police assistance upon landing after a passenger became disruptive in-flight.
“The aircraft landed normally and police and removed and detained this individual.
“The safety and comfort of our customers, crew and aircraft is our number one priority. This is now a matter for local police.”
Portuguese said the incident has been handed to prosecutors to decide if he will be charged.
