Amy Childs in tears as her newborn twins hold hands and snuggle up in sweet video
Amy Childs – and her fans – were reduced to tears as the new mum gushed over her adorable new twins on social media.
The former TOWIE star, who joined the show in 2011 alongside fan favourites such as Joey Essex, Lauren Goodger, and Gemma Collins, welcomed her babies with her boyfriend Billy Delbosq earlier this month.
Amy has been updating fans on her journey ever since, and earlier this week aid she was on “cloud 9” following the new additions to her family.
On Thursday, the 32 year old reality TV star took to Instagram, where she posted an almost too-cute-to-handle video of her son Billy River and daughter Amelia Mae.
The video showed the newborns cuddling next to one another in pink and blue pastel onesies as their tiny fingers curled and held one another’s hands.
In the caption, Amy wrote: “How did we get so bloody lucky @billydelbosq8 if this video doesn’t make you cry I don’t know what will you both have stolen my heart forever… I’m just sat here crying. What a beautiful video…”
The post, which has since garnered over 115,000 likes, drew masses comments from fans.
Shaughna Phillips, who recently welcomed her own first child, wrote: “Holding hands. Now I’m in tears.”
“Omg Amy this is so so wonderful. Beautiful beautiful,” wrote Jess Wright, as Carol Wright added: “This is beyond amazing.”
“My Absolute World. I love you more than you will ever know,” added the twins’ dad, Billy.
The official TOWIE Instagram account posted a series of love heart eye emojis too, as Lauren Goodger wrote: “Omg look at them amazing.”
Amy and Billy announced the birth in a joint Instagram post at the start of the month that read: “Welcome to the World our Beautiful little Twins. We are absolutely obsessed with you.. The instant Love we have for you already is unbelievable. You complete our world.. Our family is complete.”
Amy’s co-star Frankie Essex gushed about her friend's new babies in her exclusive column for OK!.
“Amy’s done so well. I’ve spoken to her since she had the babies and she’s doing amazing. The twins are beautiful,” Frankie said. “It was Easter bank holiday when she had them, so it was a wild weekend for everyone!”
Frankie, who is also a mum to twins, noted that Amy’s other kids from previous relationships, Polly, five, and Richie, four, are keen to take care of their new siblings.
She said: “It’s great timing for her as well as the kids are off school. Polly will be able to spend some time with the babies and help out.
"She’ll be gutted to go back to school. I bet she’s so excited. I’ve seen a little video of her with one of the twins and it’s so cute."
