Cardi B Denies Feuding with 10-Year-Old Rap Crew
“This wasn’t about those kids,” the rapper tweeted. “I was talking about a fan base coming for me cause of a damn Grammy.”
Cardi B says she’s not beefing with any 10-year-old kids.
After the rapper shared a bizarre Instagram Live earlier this week, where she called out "f–king white boys" for slamming her, Page Six reported the "boys" in question were a group of 10-year-old fraternal quadruplet brothers who had written a diss track about her.
However, Cardi took to Twitter on Wednesday and denied any sort of feud with the 10-year-olds, claiming the mysterious rant was directed at a fan base who had criticized her album "Invasion of Privacy," which won a Grammy last year for Best Rap Album.
"First of all I was talking about a fan base that was coming for me when it comes to album and Grammies and people chopped my video to make it seem like I was talkin about them kids," Cardi tweeted, alongside the cut IG Live clip. "Second why don’t ya go bitch to the parents that got lil kids talking shit about others?"
When a fan wrote, "are people still talking about this?" the hip-hop star responded, "Yes it’s f–kin ridiculous cause they clout chasing ass father out here talking to press .Imagine a father try h to get clout if they kids."
Cardi responded to two publications who had written articles about the alleged feud and reiterated her earlier tweets.
"This wasn’t about those kids," she tweeted. "I was talking about a fan base coming for me cause of a damn Grammy."
"NOT TRUE," she added in another. "Deum do blogs ever do they research anymore ? Or ya just post shit for clickbait."
Another Twitter user replied to Cardi writing, "For one if a 10yr old thinks they’re old enough to disrespect a adult on social media, little punks need to be cussed out & put in their place. No problem putting other people’s kids in check since they won’t!!"
"Right like let’s say if I did respond to them why you even trying a adult ?" the "Bodak Yellow" artist replied. "My mother will never !"
In the Instagram Live video, which Cardi posted Monday night, she said, "Not gonna let no little f–king white boys come at me all motherf–king day long. Motherf–king shut the f–k up and stay in your motherf–king place. Go drink your motherf–king milk, bitch. F–k."
Page Six then reported Tuesday night the "white boys" were four 10-year-old Westchester fraternal quadruplet brothers who post their music on their Instagram account ZN8tion. The kids — who go by the rap names Hollywood, Slim Z, Bonez McKoy and Mr. Great — released a diss track two weeks ago, which from its contents seems to be directed at Cardi.
The song features schoolyard insults, including lyrics saying Cardi is "washed up," "belongs in a zoo," and smells like a "turd."
"I don’t know what’s faker: your life or your butt," the crew raps. "They could fix your teeth, but they couldn’t fix your face," they say in another lyric.
A member of the band, Hollywood, told Page Six they targeted Cardi in the song because "she’s been a bully" to other rappers.
"We wanted to show Cardi B to not be a bully and give her a taste of her own medicine," he said. Hollywood added that Cardi’s apparent response "made us feel like we’d done our job."
Well, according to Cardi, she hasn’t responded to the kids at all.
