Carol Vorderman, 58, rose to fame as a presenter and maths whizz on Countdown when the Channel 4 show launched in 1982. The two-time Rear of the Year award-winner, radio and TV presenter took to Twitter and stunned her fans after she sported a brand new ‘do.

Taking to Twitter to give her 452,000 followers a glimpse of her new hairstyle the star shocked fans.

The mum-of-two was clearly in a playful mood as she rocked pink hair ahead of Halloween weekend.

The Countdown legend looked as stunning as ever with feline flicks of eyeliner and a rose lipstick accentuating her pretty features.

Carol captioned the snap: “I don’t know how [email protected] did that #NoIdeaAboutFilters… pink hair anyone?”(sic)

Fans flocked to comment on the star’s new look, as many complimented the mathematician.

One person quipped: “Absolutely gorgeous Carol. Still can’t believe you’re going to be 37 on Christmas Eve! The day before I turn 21 (again)!”

Carol cheekily replied: “Yup.”

Another person remarked: “Didn’t think you could get any sexier, but pink hair suits you!”

“Gorgeous Carol. Please remember some of us men have weak hearts,” a third social media user joked.

Her new look comes just days after the Countdown favourite put on a leggy display ahead of her show on BBC Radio Wales.
