Christopher Meloni has a hilarious response about his tight pants

Christopher Meloni has a hilarious response after fans noticed his thick posterior in fitted pants on the set of Law & Order: Organized Crime

Christopher Meloni proved that he was a good sport when he responded to fans on Twitter after they jokingly shared a photo of his backside.

The 60-year-old star of the new spin-off Law & Order: Organized Crime was seen Tuesday in New York City on the set of his series when he spotted from behind in a super-tight pair of pants.

Most of the Twitter users posting seemed to be big fans of the image, and the actor turned out to be gracious about it when he replied to one poster.

He works out: Christopher Meloni, 60, caused a sensation after a Twitter user shared a photo of his backside in tight pants that lit up social media; seen on the set of Law & Order: Organized Crime on Tuesday

The science journalist Peter Hess first alerted people to the image on Wednesday.

‘SVU is filming in park slope this week and someone in the neighborhood facebook group posted this photo of chris meloni,’ he wrote, along with a sweating hot face emoji.

A masked Meloni was seen chatting with his costar Danielle Moné Truitt between takes while wearing navy blue trousers.

The photo was somewhat accentuated because he appeared to be raising one of his legs to stretch it, which wasn’t immediately obvious from a quick glance at the photo.

Having a laugh: After a fan posted the photo of Chris’ backside in the tight pants, plenty of others joked about and complimented it. He played a good sport after responding to one fan’s tweet

Meloni’s build inspired plenty of jokes, most of them from affectionate fans.

‘Law and Ardor: Special Thicctims Unit,’ added Hess, while The New York Times culture reporter David Itzkoff joked, ‘how do you think they make that donk-donk sound in each episode.’

‘Steve Rogers [Captain America] might have America’s A**, but that right there is New York City’s A**,’ joked another user.

One person shared a gif of Patrick from Spongebob with cartoonish buttocks, which got Meloni’s attention.

‘@Chris_Meloni you wanna explain why you have so much cake???’ they wrote playfully.

‘Sure— big birthday(60), big boy(200 lbs), big cake,’ he replied.

Good one: Several Twitter users fired off some great material, including New York Times culture reporter David Itzkoff, who joked, ‘how do you think they make that donk-donk sound in each episode’

Proud of it: The attention on Chris’ backside isn’t exactly new, as he joked about having the ‘best a** in primetime’ with Conan O’Brien back in 2014

The actor’s on-screen wife from his single-season sitcom Surviving Jack had spent a significant portion of her earlier interview with Conan praising her costar’s build, so naturally he asked the Law & Order veteran when he appeared for his own interview.

Chris said that, ‘It’s a little genetic,’ though his squats and deadlifts help.

‘I know at some point it’s going to fall, so I might as well keep Father Time at bay,’ he joked.
