‘It’s a plunge-off between me and Amanda!’ Davina McCall, 53, jokes she wants to get an Ofcom complaint for her racy Masked Dancer outfits as she vows to rival Holden, 50

Davina McCall has joked she wants to get an Ofcom complaint for her racy outfits on The Masked Dancer and is in a ‘plunge-off’ with Amanda Holden.

The presenter, 53, who is currently starring as a judge on the ITV reality show, admitted she will have to ‘work harder’ with her cleavage-baring ensembles.

Amanda, 50, has caused controversy over the years with her daring looks on Britain’s Got Talent – with a recent dress sparking 235 complaints and another gown leaving 663 viewers disgruntled.

While on The Masked Dancer this week, Davina has wowed in a number of racy ensembles, including a latex mini dress and a red plunging ensemble.

Talking to The Sun, Davina joked: ‘I’ve been plunging my little heart out. I plunged on show two and I had the cleavage to match. Now it’s a “plunge-off” between me and Amanda.

‘But I haven’t had an Ofcom complaint yet. I’ve got to work harder. If I get one I’ll be a little bit pleased, if I’m honest. There was always that red latex dress I wore on last night’s show. Amanda and I have to have some kind of a duel.’

Davina often shows off her incredible figure and washboard abs on her Instagram, where she models bikinis, crop tops and mini dresses.

Yet the presenter insisted that she is not trying to be ‘shocking’ or ‘offensive’ and instead doesn’t want to be labelled as ‘boring’.

Davina went on to praise Amanda for ‘living life to the full’ and added that she has known the presenter ‘forever’.

She said: ‘In a funny kind of way it’s us saying to all those pert 30-year-olds, “It’s going to be OK. Don’t worry — you’re still going to be having a blast in your fifties and we’re going to show you how”. We both feel really proud of that.’

Last year, one of Amanda’s racy gowns on Britain’s Got Talent sparked 235 Ofcom complaints and led viewers to question whether she had suffered a nip slip in the look.

Yet the presenter laughed off the drama in an exclusive interview with MailOnline at the time, joking that her breasts need their ‘own representation’ and shutting down speculation she has encountered a wardrobe malfunction.

In her typically tongue-in-cheek humour, the singer joked that she was more insulted that people thought she had ‘huge saucepan nipples’.

Amanda explained that she has her own ‘committee’ of people that come down to check on her outfits before a show and she said that her racy gown had passed.

Although being mindful of viewers’ opinions, Amanda admitted that she ‘can see what people think’.

Oh dear! Last year, one of Amanda’s racy gowns on Britain’s Got Talent sparked 235 Ofcom complaints and led viewers to question whether she had suffered a nip slip in the look

Amanda had worn a plunging navy gown with a daring thigh-high slit which had a built in underwire on the bust.

The Heart radio presenter said: ‘I can see what people think, it had a like an underwire, you know when you have an underwire bikini or bra, the end of it it’s like an upside down U isn’t it. The end of it dug in.

‘I was more insulted that people thought I had either huge saucepan nipples or nipples over my cleavage.’

Joking about how much attention her breasts and racy ensembles get, Amanda quipped that they need their own representation and will be going on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.

‘A corset dented the girls all night’: Yet the presenter laughed off the drama in an exclusive interview with MailOnline at the time, joking that her breasts need their ‘own representation’ and shutting down speculation she has encountered a wardrobe malfunction

She said: ‘I am seriously thinking my girls need separate representation to me, because they are known on their own. They don’t need me, they’re going to go off and do Piers Morgan’s Life Stories on their own next year!’ (pictured in a previous BGT dress)

‘They’re going to do their own album, they’re bringing out their own autobiography – The Truth Behind The Bra!’
