Ant McPartlin and Anne-Marie Corbett debut matching star tattoos as they enjoy double date with Declan Donnelly and wife Ali Astall to mark the end of I’m A Celebrity season

He left I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! viewers shocked this month when he debuted a host of new tattoos. 

Now it’s been revealed that one of Ant McPartlin’s inkings is in tribute to girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett, as the pair were seen flashing their matching ink on Sunday. 

The duo showcased their tattoos as they strolled hand in hand en route to dinner with Declan Donnelly and wife Ali Astall, after crowning Jacqueline Jossa this year’s Jungle Queen.

Ant and Anne-Marie, both 44, sported a trio of small stars tattooed on their left wrists, but neither have spoken out on the meaning behind the symbol. 

The TatRing, suggests that a trio of stars can symbolise ‘a journey that was taken’.

The star’s join Ant’s recent collection of new inkings, which also include an arrow tattoo on his right forearm and a rose tattoo on his left.

The stars are nestled just above the Alcoholics Anonymous symbol he got inked on his wrist in 2018, following two stints in rehab for drink and drug addiction.

The tattoo – involving a triangle encased by a circle mirrors the logo of the famous organisation, which has been working to help its members achieve sobriety since 1935.

The triangle represents the three sides of the disease – physical, mental and spiritual. 

As well as its three cures, in the form of unity, recovery and service. 

Ant seemed in a chirpy mood as he headed to the eatery hand in hand with Anne-Marie. 

The former PA, 44, cut a stylish figure on the outing, as she slipped into a striped cream dress that she paired with tan sandals.

Meanwhile, Dec, 44, looked in high spirits as he headed to a restaurant on the Gold Coast cradling daughter Isla, 15 months.   

The Geordie presenter was every inch the doting dad as he cooed over his little one, who looked adorable in a baby blue dress. 

Dec was joined by glamorous wife Ali on the outing, who showcased her lithe figure in a cream summer dress that she teamed with black wedges and a Chanel handbag.

The group were no doubt keen to toast the end of the 19th series of the show, and line their stomachs ahead of the wrap party. 

They might have seen a drop in ratings, but Ant and Dec were still in the mood to celebrate. 

The pair seemed to be in high spirits on the outing, despite a host of viewers denouncing the double act and calling for the return of Holly Willoughby.

Ant did not present last year’s series as he took a break from TV to work on his drug and alcohol addiction, which lead to Holly stepping in to co-host the show.  

Holly received the shows highest viewing figures ever last year, pulling in more than 14 million viewers and a steady 12.2 million throughout it’s run.

Yet the ratings suffered a drop during the opening of this year’s series, with 11.9 million viewers tuning in for the first episode marking the return of Ant.

Ahead of the live final the show took a further blow as it was revealed the ratings had dropped by five million throughout the series.  

Despite fans pleas for Holly to return to the programme in some way, producers are apparently loving having old favourites Ant and Dec back together.

As source told the Daily Star Sunday: ‘Even with the ratings going down, they are still confident that the lads are the best ­presenters for the show.

Adding: ‘That means they won’t be bringing Holly back.’
