Lance Armstrong seen ‘downing shots’ in Miami nightclub
Lance Armstrong — who fell from grace after admitting he used banned substances during the time when he won seven consecutive Tour de France titles — seems to be making a return to public life, as well as to nightlife.
The cyclist — who last month agreed to pay $5 million to settle claims that he defrauded the federal government since the US Postal Service sponsored his cycling team — will even be honored with Susan G. Komen LA’s Babes for Boobs Inspiration Award on June 7 at the El Rey Theatre.
Armstrong is a testicular cancer survivor.
The re-emerging blood-doping dope was also seen hitting the clubs in Miami this week, spies exclusively told Page Six.
He was spotted at hip restaurant Rácket in the artsy area of Wynwood on Tuesday before hitting Wall Lounge. “He was lit by the time he got to Wall,” said an onlooker.
“They sat him with a bunch of models, of course, and he chatted and took a few pics.”
The source added, “He was downing shots.”
His rep did not comment.
Armstrong got engaged to longtime girlfriend Anna Hansen last year.
