Maren Morris Has a Hilarious Reaction to the Claim That Luke Bryan Is Her Son's Father
Maren Morris is a country sensation who has released hit singles such as “My Church,” “I Could Use a Love Song,” “Girl,” and “The Bones.”
In addition to being a singer/songwriter, Morris became a mom last year. She embarked on her motherhood journey for the first time and is sharing with fans all about it. However, she doesn’t always sit by when misconceptions about her family pop up. Morris recently hit back at a claim that Luke Bryan is her son’s father.
Maren Morris has a child with singer Ryan Hurd
Morris married fellow country singer/songwriter Ryan Hurd in 2018. The pair first met while writing a song for Tim McGraw. They would visit bars together after writing sessions, and their love blossomed from there.
In March 2020, Morris and Hurd became parents for the first time. They welcomed a baby boy named Hayes. Morris has opened up with fans about going through postpartum depression, but she also talks positively about parenthood.
According to Radio.com, she shared about her son, “He’s just perfect, he’s so smiley. It’s a really fun age with him right now because he’s laughing at everything… he loves music. He’s just the sweetest baby and I just get excited everyday that I get to wake up and hang out with him.”
Maren Morris reacted hilariously to the claim that Luke Bryan is her son’s father
As reported by Us Weekly, The Sun wrote an article about Morris speaking out on postpartum body expectations. However, the outlet misidentified Morris’ husband.
“Earlier this month the hot mama, who gave birth to her first child with husband Luke Bryan in March 2020, shared a thoughtful post about her post-baby body,” The Sun wrote.
In response to the mistake, Morris posted a screenshot of the article on her Instagram Story. She made fun of the situation by writing, “I guess the cat’s outta the bag @lukebryan.” Morris also included a laughing emoji and a GIF of a woman laughing.
Hurd also joined in on the fun. He wrote on his own page, “Damn you @LukeBryan I demand a paternity test.”
Luke Bryan once got mistaken for Blake Shelton
This is not the first time Bryan got mistaken for a fellow country singer. Last year, while he was performing for ACM Presents: Our Country, a TV station displayed Blake Shelton’s name on the screen instead of Bryan’s.
According to Pop Culture, Bryan posted a picture of this mishap on his Instagram page, writing, “I gotta work harder.”
Shelton also commented on the picture with a caption saying, “Wow look at my spray tan everyone!!!”
Other country stars chimed in as well. Dylan Scott joked, “Love watching you on The Voice!” Meanwhile, Jason Aldean seemed to think the situation was hilarious as he commented with three laughing emojis.
