Mario Falcone shared a sweet post to celebrate his five year anniversary with fiancée Becky Miesner on Friday.

Taking to Instagram, the TOWIE star, 33, posted a gorgeous photo of himself with Becky as he joked that "sliding into her DMs" was the best thing he ever did.

Mario sweetly captioned the post with: "Happy 5 year anniversary my love! The best thing I ever did was slide into your DMs @beckymiesner1 you complete me and I love you," followed by a heart emoji.

The reality star's 1.1million followers and celebrity pals were quick to celebrate the milestone as they flocked to the comments section to share their love for the couple with Vicky Pattison writing: "Hahaha stop ittttt" followed by heart eyes.

Becky also shared her own post to mark their anniversary, posting a gorgeous picture of herself with Mario while laughing together in the sun.

She captioned it with: "Happy 5 year anniversary to us @mariofalcone. Thank you for being the one who makes me laugh, makes me silly, makes me funny one & made me a Mummy. Looking forward to what the next 5 will bring."

It comes after Mario and Becky exclusively spoke to OK! last month about having postponed their wedding again to 2022 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

When asked about how they felt having to postpone their nuptials, Mario was looking forward to the "fourth time lucky" next year as they had postponed it twice previously for the arrival of their now two-and-a-half-year-old son Parker and then the coronavirus crisis.

Mario said: "No one has flights booked, we can’t quarantine and we can’t expect our guests to. I went to Portugal recently for work and it ended up costing me £1,000! Both my sisters have a few children so it will be a hell of a lot of money.

“With all the restrictions in place as well, it’s not your wedding day if you have to think about wearing a mask or not being able to dance."

They also spoke about how they were open to the possibility of a second child so their son, Parker, could have a sibling.

Mario said: "We don’t do the whole ovulation sticks because it’s too much pressure.
