Naga Munchetty shares worries as co-star warns intimate bra insight will spark reaction
Naga Munchetty apologises for radio silence during interview
Naga Munchetty, 45, gave her BBC Radio 5 Live listeners a more personal insight into her private life, by discussing her favourite bra. It comes after she and co-star Nicky Campbell were discussing lost items, but he warned her that the topic of conversation might spark a reaction from the audience.

Naga was aware it might be perceived negatively, but didn’t seem too worried as she continued on.
“I don’t know how this is going to be picked up,” she sighed, “But you know you have certain things that you know you have and you just can’t find them?”
“So I have lots of things in twos because if they work and I can afford it, I’ll buy things in twos.”
Nicky agreed that it was a smart way to shop as the breakfast show presenter explained her predicament with her bra.

“Because of the other job I do, I have to be very mindful of lines and shapes and things,” she said, referring to her hosting spot on BBC Breakfast alongside Charlie Stayt.
Before she continued, she warned Nicky that it might make him “a bit uncomfortable” as she was about to bring up ladies underwear live on the radio.
“This is something men don’t have to worry about but women do – and we think about these things!” she explained.
“I have this great bra, which is seamless and I have two of them because they’re brilliant for telly because no lumps and bumps show through.
“But I can’t find the other one, I know it’s somewhere.”
Naga revealed one of her jobs this coming weekend was to hunt down the misplaced undergarment by emptying all her draws until she finds it.
And it seems the missing attire is really starting to frustrate her.
“I’ve lost it, I haven’t had it for about six months. It’s driving me nuts,” she admitted through gritted teeth.

Nicky plucked up the courage to suggest she buy a new one, but Naga quicky shut down that idea.
“No because it’s there, I’m not going to waste money buying another one!” she snapped.
“That’s not the answer, you find the said offending item!”
Her co-star laughed as he pointed out how candid she was being about her life.
“This is a lovely insight into your life – so do you just buy the two upfront or get one, test it out then buy another one a few months later?”
Naga smiled as she nodded: “I just stick to what I know. When the other one was past its best.
“Anyway, I thought you’d like to know that!” she laughed before attempting to move onto the 11 o’clock news bulletin.
But before they could, Nicky quickly warned: “I think we will get some reaction on the texts!”
BBC Breakfast airs weekdays at 6am on BBC One and Naga’s Radio 5 Live slot begins at 10am.
