Nick Cannon says there were 'no accidents' after welcoming 7th child
Nick Cannon has spoken out for the first time after welcoming his seventh child.
The Wild N Out host welcomed a baby last month with his girlfriend Alyssa Scott, just a week after welcoming twins with Abby De La Rosa earlier in June.
Despite the babies being born so close together, Nick has insisted that there were no accidents.
‘I’m having these kids on purpose! I don’t have no accident,’ the 40-year-old said.
He added on his Power 106 radio show: ‘There’s a lot of people that I could’ve gotten pregnant that I didn’t. The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant.’
Abby and Alyssa appear to have given birth a week apart as the former revealed she gave birth to her twins, Zion and Zillionaire, on June 14.
Nick’s former partner, Brittany Bell, gave birth to his third child, Powerful Queen, in December. They also share three-year-old son Golden ‘Sagon’.
The former America’s Got Talent host is also father to 10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, who he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey.
Abby, 30, welcomed the twins in June, sharing the news with a sweet video of herself in hospital, with the caption: ‘JUNE 14TH, 2021.
‘Welcome to the world Zion Mixolydian Cannon & ZIllion Heir Cannon #Myworld #twinboys.’
Meanwhile, Alyssa welcomed baby Zen in late June, sharing a photo of herself cradling the little one in a black and white photo.
‘I will love you for eternity 🖤 6•23•21,’ she wrote.
Nick’s father has also spoken out about his family expanding, revealing he’s thrilled – but he struggles to keep up with how many granchildren he has.
‘I’m going to say 12, 13, 14?’ he told the US Sun. ‘I’ve read a couple of new reports, but I’m not claiming those until I talk to the papa myself.’
