Reese Witherspoon before and after for Oscars

Reese Witherspoon before and after! The star, 45, is makeup-free and then glam for Oscars as she borrows a line from Legally Blonde: ‘What… like it’s hard?’

Reese Witherspoon shared a fun video with her 25m Instagram followers on Sunday evening.

The siren, who is currently filming The Morning Show with Jennifer Aniston, gave fans a before and after look of her glam for the 93rd annual Academy Awards, for which she served as presenter.

In the quick video, the Oscar winner, 45, was seen with only some foundation on as she posed in a robe. She then puts a black makeup brush up to the camera and – like magic – she is seen all made up in her red Christian Dior gown and Bulgari jewelry.

In the quick video, the Oscar winner was seen with only some foundation on as she posed in a robe. She then puts a black makeup brush up to the camera and – like magic – she is seen all made up in her red Christian Dior gown.

The clip starts with her sitting down and her hair not yet styled and makeup not yet applied.

She is smiling and appears happy as Feels with Calvin Harris is played. She has on a blue-and-white polka dot robe with a pink monogram on the front.

The brush hits the camera, blocking any view, and suddenly she is seen in the same chair as she is fully made up.

Knockout: Her makeup is stunning with black lined eyes, long lashes, pink blush and a painted point. The blonde hair that was unbrushed before is now styled like a Hollywood glamorous

#Oscars glam: What… like it’s hard? ✨’ she wrote in her caption, borrowing a line that Elle Woods used about getting into Harvard law school in the movie Legally Blonde.

The Cruel Intentions actress’ dress featured a knotted halter neckline, along with a beautifully draped pleated skirt.

Standing pretty: Reese added a stylish thin black leather belt at her waist, also from Dior as seen in the golden buckle

Witherspoon accessorized with dangly diamond chandelier earrings from Bulgari, along with a beautiful sparkly chevron bracelet as well as some rings on her fingers.

Her blonde hair was worn down and straight, parted at the middle.

She sported open-toed shoes which featured her red pedicure to match her ensemble.

She is no stranger to the Oscars: She won an Oscar her first time out in 2006 for her portrayal of June Carter in Walk The Line opposite Joaquin Phoenix.

On social media, the Election star couldn’t contain her excitement for Hollywood’s biggest night, when she posted a flurry of activity starting early on Sunday morning.

After a brief testimonial video posted to her Instagram Stories in an Oscars sweatshirt, the mother of three posted content showing her glam team dolling her up for the event.

Later, she introduced her followers to her ‘date’ for the evening – none other than her Big Little Lies costar Laura Dern, also an Oscar-winning actress.

Laura, who won the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar last year for Netflix’s Marriage Story, looked sublime in an ensemble consisting of a black satin top and white feathered skirt.

The 93rd Academy Awards marks the first time Tinseltown’s finest have assembled in over a year, due to the hopefully waning coronavirus pandemic.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is hosting the delayed ceremony at the historic Union Station in downtown Los Angeles, where socially distanced movie stars can go mask-free while on-camera or seated in the main show room.
