They famously locked horns when Rylan appeared as an X Factor contestant on the in 2012 and judge Gary Barlow didn’t think he was worthy of being on the show.
But seven years after Rylan came in fifth place on the ninth series and went on to become a TV presenter and a household name, the pair have healed their rift.
Rylan, 30, took to social media on Tuesday night to share a sweet picture of himself and Gary, 48, when they bumped into one another at the Specsavers party in London.

The men didn’t hold back about their feelings for one another on the X Factor.
Gary famously stormed out of the studio when controversial act Rylan got through the first week of eliminations over his favourite act, Carolynne Poole.
Take That star Gary also once said to him: ‘I’m glad you learned the trick that when you pull the mic away – we don’t hear what you’re singing.’

Adding insult to injury, Rylan also got a fake tattoo of Gary’s face on his back for a magazine shoot and referred to him as Gary ‘Bore-low’.

Gary later said that making up with Robbie was ‘like an exorcism’ and they both admitted: ‘I’m a d***.’
