Teen Mom star David Eason admits he KILLED the dog
Teen Mom’s David Eason finally admits he KILLED Jenelle Evans’ dog Nugget which may re-open his case leading to an animal cruelty charge
Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans saw her French bulldog Nugget die earlier this year which caused a police investigation, the removal of her children from the home and her firing from Teen Mom.
After several denials, her husband David Eason has finally admitted to People TV that he did kill the small dog. In a shocking interview, Eason says he killed the dog to save it from nipping their daughter Ensley, aged two, and also biting another owner if they gave it away. And he also said he now misses the dog.
Soon after TMZ reported that his confession has been seen by his local police which may cause them to reopen the case. If that happens, he could be charged with animal cruelty.
He killed the pooch: Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans saw her French bulldog Nugget die earlier this year which caused a police investigation and the removal of her children from the home. After several denials and court dates, her husband David Eason has finally admitted to People TV that he did kill the dog. Seen on September 7 in NYC
Missed: In July Jenelle said she had no idea if her husband killed Nugget. She now says she knows he did it
David insisted he shot the dog with his gun so that his daughter would not be attacked.
(Both have children from past relationships, as Jenelle, 27, is also mom to sons Jace, nine, and Kaiser, four, while Eason is father to daughter Maryssa, 11.)
And he added the pooch had already taken bites at the child multiple times.
He explained he didn’t want to give it up for adoption because it might have bitten another child.
Instead of having Nugget euthanized, he thought he would end the dog’s life himself to save the trouble.
Jenelle then stepped in and said this was supposed to be a ‘private family matter.’
Cold approach: He explained he didn’t want to give it up for adoption because it might have bitten another child. Instead of having Nugget euthanized, he thought he would end the dog’s life himself to save the trouble
Tough times: The two had to go to court this year to regain custody of their children
Oddly, it stopped being private because she posted news of Nugget’s death on social media.
Evans added that her husband feels bad about killing Nugget and has learned from it. He added he misses the canine.
In May David said: ‘I don’t give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face. ‘Whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that s*** at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission.
‘Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.’
The slaying of the canine had immediate repercussions for the family, as MTV fired Jenelle from Teen Mom, while the couple temporarily lost custody of their kids.
In July Jenelle backpedaled on confirming that Eason had killed the dog Nugget, as she claimed to TMZ that she’s got ‘no idea’ of Nugget is living or dead, deferring the question to her husband.
Family: In a shocking interview, Eason says he killed the dog to save it from biting another owner if they gave it away. And he also said he now misses the dog. Seen with their kids Ensley and Maryssa
‘You would have to ask David that – I still have not asked David to this day,’ said Jenelle, who said she last saw the dog May 1.
Authorities with the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office announced they were not charging Eason in the case.
At this point, the reality TV stars should be pet free.
But in July then adopted two new dogs: Buddy and Junior, a pair of Anatolian Shepherd puppies the couple is hosting on their North Carolina farm.
They shared a look at the dogs in a YouTube clip.
Eason, in the video description, said the dogs are on the premises as means ‘of protecting our chickens and livestock’ from ‘hawks and crows [that are] always eating the heads off our chickens.’
The latest: Eason showed off Buddy and Junior, a pair of Anatolian Shepherd puppies the couple is hosting on their North Carolina farm, in a YouTube clip Sunday. The couple was snapped in NYC earlier this year
Eason, a welder by trade, noted how the family’s pit bull Jax ‘killed and maimed’ chickens, as well as a pig on the property that weighed ‘around’ 80 pounds.
‘With that in mind … we decided to give him to a friend,’ said Eason, adding that he found a breed of canine to complement the needs of the farm.
‘After lots of research we came across this breed of dog called the Anatolian Shepherd,’ he wrote. ‘They are one of the most unique types of dog I have ever seen and have the best temperament and disposition of any dog I have ever owned.
‘They are a livestock guardian breed and do not mind eating and sleeping with all our animals on The Land!’
In the 10-minute clip, the dogs were seen mingling with the menagerie of geese and chickens on the premises as a relaxed Eason narrated, petting the dogs as he described the goings-on of the animals at the farm.
Functional: Eason said the dogs are on the premises as means ‘of protecting our chickens and livestock’ from ‘hawks and crows [that are] always eating the heads off our chicken’
Affection: Eason, who is linked to the killing of the family’s French bulldog in April, acted warm and loving toward the pups in the clip
Nature abound: Eason showed off the geese on the property in the clip
Crowded: The welder also showed off the chickens that populate the residence
