The Great Celebrity Bake Off 2021: Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall, Hollywood star James McAvoy, Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley, journalist Stacey Dooley and TV’s Anneka Rice lead the fresh batch of famous faces heading to the tent for Stand Up To Cancer
- The celebrity edition of the show sees the celebrities do their bit in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, a joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4
- Each episode will see four celebrities battle it out over three rounds – the Signature, the Technical and the Showstopper – in a bid to be crowned Star Baker
- Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be judging the bakes while host Matt Lucas will also return to the tent ‘keeping time and spirits up’
- Stand Up To Cancer has raised more than £62 million, funding 55 clinical trials and projects involving 11,000 cancer patients across the country
- The series is set to air in the Spring on Channel 4
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer is back for 2021, with Channel 4 revealing which famous faces are heading to the tent this year.
And it’s a starry line-up of 20 celebs, including Hollywood elite, golden girls from the world of pop and Olympic and Paralympic heroes aplenty.
Kicking off the line-up is British actor James McAvoy, famed for roles in the X Men films as well as the likes of It: Chapter Two and Atonement.

James will see another fellow Hollywood star in the form of Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley hitting the tent, while TV presenters Stacey Dooley and Anneka Rice are among the celebrity bakers.
Also hoping to impress with their baking skills will be double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes, actor and comedian John Bishop, comedian and presenter Tom Allen, author and TV star David Baddiel and Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall.
The list of celebrity participants also includes YouTuber and musician KSI, Paralympian Ade Adepitan, author and psychotherapist Philippa Perry, radio DJ Nick Grimshaw and comedian Rob Beckett.
Former X Factor winner Alexandra Burke, actor Reece Shearsmith, musician Dizzee Rascal, as well as singers Anne-Marie and Nadine Coyle, and comedian Katherine Ryan are also all on board.

‘It has been a difficult year for charities and we sincerely hope that this series will offer a lot of fun, but also some much-needed funds in the fight against cancer.’
