Tim McGraw Shares Ode To Small-Town Life ‘Hallelujahville’

Country crooner Tim McGraw released his latest single, “Hallelujahville,” on Friday (July 24).

Taken from his upcoming, 16th studio album, Here On Earth, the song was co-written by Tom Douglas, Blake Griffith, and Brett Taylor.

“She’s a drama, she’s a mama, she’s my country queen/I bust my ass on big machines/Promised her forever at seventeen/And I’m okay with that” McGraw croons, speaking fondly of his missus, with whom he fell in love in high school.

“Can I get an Amen for livin’ in Hallelujahville” he belts out in the chorus, with Hallelujahville being the quaint town in which the couple now live.

Here On Earth, is due out on August 21, is McGraw’s first solo effort since his 2015 record, Damn Country Music, and includes 16 tracks that have been described as “vignettes of shared human emotions such as love, relationships, introspection and fun.”
