TOWIE’s Mario Falcone and fiancée Becky Miesner expecting first child
Mario Falcone has announced that he’s going to be a dad – but it’s come at a cost.
The TOWIE star has had to postpone his wedding to fiancée Becky Miesner after finding out they’re expecting their first child.
The couple got engaged last June after one year together, and Becky discovered the happy news that she was pregnant in March while they were sunning it up on holiday in Barbados.
Announcing the news in OK! magazine, Becky said: "We were trying for a baby for a while last year but it wasn’t happening, so we decided to stop for a bit. Then a few months later I fell pregnant!"
Mario added: "We weren’t taking any precautions, but we had stopped trying so obsessively. It was getting quite stressful so we decided we needed to relax a bit.
"But as soon as we went back to just having fun, she fell pregnant!"
He added: "It was a bit of a shock when the test was positive!
"It’s been my dream to be a dad for a long time now, so I’m over the moon."
"We’re so excited to be parents – but we’ve had to postpone the wedding!"
Mario and Becky are so excited about welcoming their first child, that they’re already planning to have more babies.
Mario said: "We want three or four kids, so hopefully we’ll eventually end up with a boy and a girl.
"We were supposed to be getting married in August but we’ve rescheduled for next spring."
After the pair got engaged last year, Mario took to Twitter to tell the world.
Sharing a snap of himself down on bended knee and holding out a ring, he wrote: "She said yes!"
And he’s previously told the mag how he sees his big day going down.
The reality hunk said he wants to tie the knot abroad, either in the south of France, the Italian village of his father’s birth or a sunny beach location.
But he also said he’d have a second ceremony back home so that his and Becky’s elderly relatives could attend.
