TOWIE’s Shelby Tribble says beau Pete Wicks and Megan McKenna ‘weren’t healthy’

Megan McKenna is back on the market after her split from Love Island hunk ‘Muggy’ Mike Thalassitis .

But TOWIE’s Shelby Tribble has warned her away from trying to rekindle her romance with Pete Wicks now that they’re loved up.

While things aren’t official between them yet, the reality babe says things are going very well between them.

And she also said Pete and Megan were no good for each other.

The 26-year-old said: "They weren’t healthy for each other and I’m sure at the time they loved each other but they weren’t right for each other."

Speaking at The Nelson Mandela Global Gift Gala, she added to The Sun : "He’s amazing, I love so much about him. He has me in tears of laughter he’s so funny. He’s so intelligent and I love that in a man.

"He’s so caring and protective and he’s got so many qualities that I love in a man. We’re very similar, we think the same, we do things the same, and it’s really weird."

Shelby and Pete had already been on a couple of dates before she joined the show, but they still aren’t official.

But she said their relationship status isn’t an issue because they’re "really happy with each other" and "don’t want to rush anything".

Megan and Mike confirmed their split just yesterday, as she romanced all traces of him from her social media.

The news came just three days after Mike shared a loved-up snap of him and Megan on holiday with a padlock as the caption.

There had been rumours things had gone awry for the good-looking pair after Megan deleted all trace of Mike from her social media accounts.

Representatives then confirmed the reports were true on Tuesday, though the reason for the break-up has yet to be revealed.

The pair enjoyed a whirlwind romance, that started back in February when they jetted off on a romantic break to Amsterdam together.
