Watch Dele Alli play Fortnite live for 10,000 fans

Dele Alli had a break from football on Wednesday night and snubbed watching Bayern Munich take on Real Madrid in the Champions League to play Fortnite.

The Tottenham midfielder teamed up with Kyle Walker-Peters and won a Battle Royale twice in the game popular among teenagers at the moment, as 10,000 fans watched the live stream.

Alli also revealed his PSN name – delstroyer14 – as well as Harry Maguire’s; although we doubt he’ll be accepting to play with us mere mortals anytime soon.

The 22-year-old appears to be a big fan of the game, which he was seen playing in his room on his PS4 in front of two signed England shirts on the wall behind him.

He opted to play it instead of watching Bayern Munich’s semi-final clash with Real Madrid, who Spurs beat in the Champions League this season.

Also, in Manchester United’s FA Cup win over Spurs last time out, the midfielder performed the ‘floss dance’, which features in the game, when he scored.

Alli tweeted his disappointment following Tottenham’s semi-final exit.

"Still hurting from the weekend, gutted to have not moved on to the final," wrote the midfielder, whose Spurs side are now unable to win silverware this season.

Alli will now have one eye on the World Cup in June, and be hoping to secure a top-four finish for Tottenham in the next few weeks.
