Liverpool lead Man Utd and Tottenham in battle to sign 'unplayable' Wolves star Adama Traore at discounted price

LIVERPOOL are frontrunners in the battle to sign Wolves attacker Adama Traore.

That's according to bookmakers Betfair, who've installed Jurgen Klopp's side as 3/1 favourites to clinch his signature.

The Reds are looking to bolster their attacking resources having failed to defend their Premier League title.

And Traore's a name that's frequently been tipped to complete a high-profile switch to Anfield.

The 25-year-old produced a stellar performance against Liverpool last season and his display promoted Klopp to describe him as simply 'unplayable'.

He said: "He is unplayable in moments, it's unbelievable. What a player – it’s not only him but he's so good."

However, there's plenty of competition for the rapid winger.

Manchester United are second-favourites at 5/1 with Betfair.

The Red Devils were reportedly considering Traore as a cheaper and more attainable alternative top Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho.

Tottenham are available at 8s with Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid the outsiders of the four-runner field at 12/1.

Then five-capped Spain international has struggled for form this season – returning just ONE goal in 35 appearances in all competitions.

And that, according to Football Insider, has Wolves looking to sell.

The report claims offloading Traore is a 'priority' this summer in order to finance a major 'recruitment drive' at Molineux Stadium.

Traore was valued at between £60-70m last summer but it's thought the Midlands outfit would now accept £30m.
