Manchester City sent personalised WWE title belt for winning Premier League

The wrestling company had a personalised strap made for Pep Guardiola’s men and they wasted no time posing with the gold like WWE legends Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock.

Nicolas Otamendi, Brazilian goalkeeper Ederson, star striker Gabriel Jesus and midfielder hard man Fernandinho got to grips with the belt.

With England ace Raheem Sterling, defender Aymeric Laporte, fit-again Benjamin Mendy and Portuguese playmaker Bernardo Silva also showing off the gift.

WWE icon Paul ‘HHH’ Levesque send the club a Tweet that said: “Most consecutive wins in a season. Fastest team to score 100 goals in a season. Winners of the @PremierLeague title. From @WWE to @ManCity… Congratulations! #Champions.”

City will overtake Chelsea's record 95-point tally if they beat Huddersfield on Sunday.

And Guardiola says his team will become the greatest team the Premier League has seen if they achieve the feat.

He said: "I'm happy next Sunday we will receive the Premier League and have the chance to be the best team in history in England, with the most points, and we are going to try to do it.

"The numbers we have means they will be broken and disappear.

“They want to play for something, too. Once we won the Premier League, the target is the numbers.

“It is easy to break records, but it’s good to have something to fight for and to achieve something.”
