But Neville insists Pochettino has done an outstanding job with Spurs and he would like the Argentinian to someday manage at Old Trafford – but only after Jose Mourinho has won many titles.
"Pep Guardiola, the way I should judge him, should he win the league? Yes, he should win the league. Should Jose Mourinho win the league? Yes, they should win the league with the money they’ve spent at those clubs.
"It [Guardiola at City] is a great managerial performance because he’s extracting the maximum from the players with the biggest budget. You look at Mauricio Pochettino? Kyle Walker and Rose, they were nowhere near as good players.

The former Manchester United great begrudgingly heaped praise on the Red Devils’ biggest rivals when picking his side on Monday Night Football.
One of the toughest decisions for Neville was who to select alongside Harry Kane in attack, with Roberto Firmino edging out Sergio Aguero.
"When I watch Liverpool, he is the catalyst for me," Neville explained on Monday Night Football. "I think that if you were Pep Guardiola, you would want him as your striker, the runs forward and the runs back.
"I think he doesn’t get the credit that Salah gets, obviously Salah has had a fantastic season, but for me Firmino deserves to be in."
