Zlatan Ibrahimovic makes incredible kung-fu through ball pass from over own head during LA Galaxy clash
After announcing himself in the MLS with an astonishing 40-yard wonder-goal on his debut, he caught the eye once more on Sunday.
During the game in Los Angeles, the ball took an awkward bounce in front of the man himself, flying above his head.
Rather than leap for the ball or even wait for it to drop, Ibrahimovic, 36, throws a leg well above his head and hooks a perfectly-placed through ball to a team-mate.
The ball makes its way towards a team-mate who loses the ball with a goal-scoring chance on the cards.
LA Galaxy went on to lose 2-0 at home to recently-founded Atlanta – who sit second in the Eastern Conference – with Zlatan and Co fourth in the West.
Earlier this month, Ibra sent fans into overdrive by appearing to signal his intention of being in Russia.
The Swede retired from international duty following his nation’s dismal showing at Euro 2016.
'SICK OF IT' Was Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s ‘sky high’ World Cup tweet just a marketing ploy?
But now doubts are swirling about the likelihood of it actually happening after a second update from the former Manchester United frontman.
Ibrahimovic tweeted a video for betting company Bethard in which he appears.
Sitting down reading a paper, Ibra is asked by a man getting a tattoo: “What are the odds of you playing in the World Cup?”
Zlatan replies: “Sky high.”
However, some reports suggest the clip is nothing more than a marketing ploy.
