Helping your friends upgrade to a speedy new broadband connection isn’t quite as selfless as it might sound. That’s thanks to a brilliant new offer from Community Fibre, which is offering a £50 voucher to spend on Amazon for you as well as the chum who has just signed up to a new Community Fibre connection.
The deal, which launched this month, is available to new and existing customers, so even those who have been with the full-fibre provider for a while will still be able to earn a £50 voucher. Given that deals, discounts and freebies are usually only reserved for new customers – that’s likely to be very popular for those already signed-up with a broadband provider for a lengthy contract.
If you’re already a Community Fibre customer and want to take advantage of the deal, head to the Community Fibre website, where you’ll be able to enter your postcode and email address, which will then create a unique referral link that can then be shared widely with family and friends who live in the Community Fibre catchment areas to start earning the vouchers.
If you’ve got a few high price items in your shopping basket on Amazon – you’ll be pleased to know there’s no limit to the number of friends, neighbours or family members you can refer, earning £50 each time.
Community Fibre is one of a number of new full-fibre rivals taking the competition to more established brands, including Virgin Media, BT, and others. Community Fibre uses an end-to-end fibre connection, allowing it to deliver much faster speeds than most UK households currently enjoy.
Community Fibre offers 150Mbps for £22.50, which is roughly double the 65Mbps average broadband speed across the country. For £39 a month, Community Fibre will offer a 1Gbps connection, while those willing to pay £99 a month can get 3Gbps (3,000Mbps). That’s comfortably one of the speediest connections currently available to consumers in the UK.
