iPhone 12 fans spot major clue Apple will unveil four new iPhones tonight

Eagle-eyed Apple fans have gone wild after spotting a ‘clue’ about the latest iPhone only hours before its expected unveiling.

Eager tech fanatics have reportedly noticed four new icons being added to the iCloud website.

Some think it is a hint that Apple will be revealing four new handsets at today’s Hi, Speed event.

Dug up by Apple-watchers @AppleSWUpdates, the newly added icons look like iPhones and are labelled "iPhone13,1" through "13,4”

@AppleSWUpdates posted, along with the watching eyes emoji, on Twitter: “Have you ever noticed those images in the iCloud or the Apple ID website?

“Apple has uploaded 4 images for the iPhone13,1 13,2 13,3 and 13,4.

“No released iPhone uses those identifiers (the SE 2 is 12,8) Just saying that those images are identical to the one used for the 11 Pro.”

This is reportedly the usual style Apple uses for iPhones in iCloud, with last year's iPhone 11, for instance, uses "iPhone 12,1".

Apple is reportedly working on four new phones for launch so the icons line up with the rumours.

But the jury is still out over whether these icons are anything more than just fuel to the rumour fire.

Today’s event was only announced by Apple last week and there have been no hints as to what to expect.

It’s strongly speculated that the tech giants will be unveiling the first look at the latest iPhone.

Given last year's drop was of the iPhone 11, it seems safe to say we'll get a look at the iPhone 12 today.

Rumoured features of the new handset include an all-screen design with no ‘notches’.

Experts reckon there will be a triple camera, for better snaps, and speedy 5G internet.

The smallest device is expected to have a 5.4-inch screen, two will measure 6.1 inches, and the biggest will have a huge 6.7-inch display.

It has been rumoured that the iPhone 12 will be sold without headphones, a charger or a plug adaptor in the box as is usually standard.

Apple is also rumoured to be working on over-the-ear headphones to add to the AirPods family, potentially called AirPods Studio.

Leaks on Chinese social media suggest that they won't feature in today's event.

The Apple event is at 6pm UK time.
