PS5 stock update as consoles could be re-stocked as early as January 14
PlayStation gamers will be thankful to hear that a re-stock of the PS5 is coming in a matter of days, according to reports.
The PlayStation 5 has been in high demand since its release in late 2020, with many missing out on a chance to grab the pricey console.
Rumours have circulated saying that fans could expect the new drop as soon as January 14.
However, Sony – the team behind the gaming franchise – hasn't yet issued a statement, but those interested in swooping up their own should keep an eye out for any updates from stockists.
Currys, Argos, Very, Smyths and GAME all sell the PlayStation 5 so avid gamers should keep an eye out over the coming days.
Games set to excite console fans in the coming weeks and months includes Hogwarts Legacy, Gotham Knights and Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.
But where in the UK will restock the product – if anywhere?
It would appear your best bet is the likes of GAME and Amazon, as well as department store giants like John Lewis.
A statement on theJohn Lewis websitesaid: "Thank you to everyone who has visited us and placed an order for a PS5. We are now out of stock.
"Unfortunately, PlayStation 5 consoles will not be available for purchase at our John Lewis & Partners shops or from our contact centres."

Very shared a statement to itswebsite , which reads: "Unfortunately we have sold out of our PS5 consoles for now. We have more stock coming so keep checking back for our next drop."
Argoshas not listed an update on when shoppers can expect more stock andAmazon's websitenow says the retailer does not know "when or if" the PS5 will be back in stock.
Smythssays that PS5 stock is now not expected until January 2021, meaning a restock could be arriving any day now.
Gameno longer has PS5 stock available, with no update on when new stock will arrive.
A note onCurry's websitesays the retailer is "working tirelessly to secure more stock" and customers should check back for updates.
