If you missed the memo, Amazon Prime Day is in full swing. The blockbuster two-day sales event sees prices dropped across almost every department on the online retail site. We’ve already seen prices on every Amazon Echo plummet as well as one of the lowest-ever price tags on an iPhone 12.
And now, it’s time to take a look at the TVs. With England’s next fixture in the Euros coming up tomorrow and some of the biggest blockbusters coming to Netflix, Sky and Disney+ at the same time as they release in cinemas this summer – there’s never been a better time to upgrade the ageing telly in your living room. Amazon has slashed the cost of a number of popular Samsung and LG TVs, but our pick of the bunch is easily the 50-inch Samsung Ultra HD Crystal model.
Launched at £699 a few months ago, there’s a lot to love about this 2021 model from Samsung. With a Crystal Colour panel capable of producing one billion shades of colour – that’s 64 times more than a standard 4K TV – and virtual surround sound support, this is sure to boost your next movie night. The 120Hz refresh rate means you’ll get the best from your Xbox Series X or PS5 too.
