4 dead in 7 separate shooting incidents over the last 30 hours in metro area
There were four deaths in seven different shooting incidents across the Denver metro area on Tuesday and into early Wednesday morning.
A boy was killed Wednesday night in a shooting near DCIS at Ford Elementary School. Denver police responded to the shooting on East Maxwell Place in Montbello before 9 p.m. No arrest has been made, and the name of the deceased has not been released.
An adult male was shot and killed in Hale while on Colfax after midnight Wednesday morning. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
DPD also responded to shootings at Broadway and Irvington as well as Broadway and Virginia on Tuesday, where one person was shot in each case.
Lakewood Police are searching for a suspect after a 29-year-old man was killed at the Blue Sky Motel on Colfax. The victim was found just before 3 a.m., and the individual’s name has not been released.
Aurora police officers responded to Alton Street on Monday night, where they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The man was transported to an area hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. There is still limited information on the event at this time, and the identity of the deceased has yet to be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s office
