Bodybuilder cop who sold drugs at a gym is spared jail after revealing her battle with obesity

Ceri Ann Parry, 36, flogged mephedrone and offered to sell ketamine while volunteering as a special constable.

Blackfriars crown court heard Parry was bullied by an ex and got so fat she struggled to breathe.

She took up bodybuilding and became image obsessed.

The judge said: “I accept you suffer from something akin to body dysmorphia.

"I’m certain you started selling drugs to keep up your image.”

Parry, of Didsbury, Manchester, was found guilty last month.

On Friday she got a suspended jail term and must do 300 hours’ unpaid work.
