Boris Johnson will hold a press conference tonight and unveil a military-led plan for deploying the coronavirus vaccine.

Ministry of Defence chiefs have been told to come up with plans to ensure the Government can vaccine those most at risk by mid-February.

Rather than troops, military planners will reportedly be involved in the distribution.

A source yesterday told The Sun: "The Prime Minister is approaching the vaccination roll-out as a military operation and that's what you'll see at tomorrow's press conference."

The Prime Minister will be joined by NHS England chief Sir Simon Stevens and a senior military figure.
