Emi Buendia’s wife posts stunning selfie as star linked with move to Arsenal

Arsenal transfer target Emi Buendia's wife has shared a stunning photo after the Norwich City star was linked to the Gunners.

Spanish beauty Claudia, who Buendia has a son with called Thiago, posted a series of photos on Instagram after what appeared to be a trip to the play park with the couple's young tot.

She captioned the photo with wind emojis, and her followers were clearly impressed with the pic, which has been liked more than 200 times since it was posted.

One follower commented: "You're beautiful."

Another follower, perhaps alluding to the potential transfer of boyfriend Buendia, wrote in the comments: "You look great but you would look better in red and white."

Arsenal are said to be preparing a player-plus-cash deal for Norwich’s highly-rated midfielder Buendia.

Sky Sports News has reported the move could cost the north London side £40 to £50 million.

Gunners chiefs are looking to bolster the squad with creativity as Mikel Arteta looks to continue their revival.

The manager has suggested this will come mainly from thinning down the squad, sending out players on loan and permanent exits.

The Argentine, who boasts Premier League experience with the Canaries from last season, has continued to impress in the Championship by scoring seven goals and making seven assists.

With Arteta admiring the 24-year-old and eyeing him up for "improving his side’s fluidity and creativity", it could see Arsenal offer a player in return to the Carrow Road side.

Midfielders Joe Willock and Reiss Nelson are the names the Gunners would be willing to offer Norwich, according to the report.

While manager Daniel Farke has said that Buendia will not leave the club, it is understood they will not stop him from leaving.

When Buendia was recently asked if he wants to return to the Premier League, he told Radio Residencias in Argentina: "Yes, I always say it.

"It is the best league in the world, it is the one that makes the difference at all levels.

"Any team makes life difficult for anyone, it is very complicated. Their organisational level is perfect, the stadiums have a lot of history, the conditions for playing football are ideal, there are no excuses. And the players and the teams are the best.

"I aspire to the best and work every day to get back to it, either in my team or through a transfer. Returning to the Premier in the short term is a dream.

"It is true that there was a lot of talk in the summer, after relegation, about the possibility that both I and other teammates could leave the team to continue in the Premier League.

"However, I always had my head with the club. I belong to Norwich, I have to do things well for my team.

"Tomorrow we will see, but I never had my head outside the objectives, to work so that my club does well.

"As this season unfolds, we are doing well and I am very happy to be here. We are in a good position, I am feeling important, I am scoring goals and making assists for my teammates."
