Female MMA fighter just 4’9" tall batters would-be phone thief into bloody mess
A video shows a 4'9" female MMA practitioner smack a bleeding man on the ground after he allegedly stole her brand new smartphone.
Brisa was in Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, when the man allegedly swiped her phone and tried to run away, not banking on her giving chase.
With the help of a friend, 20-year-old Brisa chased after the suspected thief and shouted at bystanders to stop him.
A group of workers managed to grab hold of the fleeing man and so Brisa was able to get back her phone and have it out with him.
In the clip, the MMA fighter holds the man in a headlock on the ground and pulls his hair while blood runs down his face.
She shouts in his ear: "Son of a b****, get a job!
"You think I spend all day locked up at work just so you can steal from me in three seconds?"
Brisa did not release the suspect until the police arrived and took him away in handcuffs, according to local media.
Dancer and Instagram influencer held at knifepoint by 'obsessed' male fan
The investigation is ongoing.
Brisa later explained that she was full of "hatred" because she spent months saving up to buy the new smartphone.
In an interview on the TV show Nosotros a La Manana, Brisa admitted that she spent a hefty part of her wages on the flashy phone.
She said: "I spent all day working during a pandemic with reduced salary and I refused to accept this guy coming along and making more than half my wages in three seconds.
"Hopefully this guy never steals again.
"I was lucky because I know how to defend myself as I practice MMA, but I don’t want it to happen to anyone else."
The woman added: "I'm proud of how I acted and I don’t regret a thing."
This comes after a famous dancer and Instagram influencer was held at knifepoint by an "obsessed fan" inside a dance academy in Buenos Aires – resulting in a standoff with armed police.
