Give thanks to those you admire as we relaunch our Hail Your Heroes campaign

AFTER the success of The Sun on Sunday’s Hail Your Heroes campaign last year, we are proud to announce we are relaunching it for 2021.

It’s a chance to thank unsung heroes the length and breadth of the country who have pulled together to help each other in the most extraordinary ways.

PM Boris Johnson backed our campaign and said he too had been moved by the actions of the public, from NHS heroes and care-home staff to selfless neighbours and bin men.

As we are in lockdown once again, you can give your thanks to those you admire, respect and love — for free.

While many of us are anxious about what’s to come, thousands of ordinary people have stepped up with generosity and care to support each other as much as possible.

Alongside our heroes of the NHS and emergency services, there are people in all walks of life who are making a difference.

It may be your neighbour who has helped you with your shopping, a friend who has walked your dog or picked up your prescription, or even the local takeaway which has given out free cups of tea and coffee.

It can be anyone who is doing their bit, spreading kindness or simply making you smile.

Send us an email, of no more than 300 words, with your name, their name, what they have done, and your message to [email protected].

To help keep everyone’s spirits up we will print them ALL – to highlight those people who are really there with you – and who make us all proud to be British.
