Man arrested after 2 shot in attempted home robbery in Denver – The Denver Post
Nineteen-year-old Ragat Adan has been arrested by Denver police as the investigation into an attempted first-degree murder continues.
The shooting occurred in the 2900 block of South Madison Street on Feb. 20. Adan entered the home along with two other people. According to the arrest report, the three suspects were not invited into the home.
Two victims suffered gunshot wounds and were sent to local hospitals.
“The three suspects ordered the people in the front room to the ground at gunpoint in an apparent attempt to commit robbery,” according to the report. “Gun fire was exchanged between the suspects.”
The three left the scene in a red sedan.
Later, Adan was taken to Centura Urgent Care with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He did not cooperate with police when asked about how he was shot.
