Melania Trump issues ‘farewell message’
Melania Trump posted a video which said ‘A Farewell Message from First Lady Melania Trump’. She said: “It has been the greatest honour of my life to serve as First Lady of the United States. I have been inspired by incredible Americans across our country who lift up our communities through their kindness, courage, goodness, and grace.

“The past four years have been unforgettable.
“As Donald and I conclude our time in the White House, I think of all of the people I have taken home in my heart and their incredible stories of love, patriotism and determination.”
She added, “violence is never the answer and will never be justified”.
It comes as Donald Trump has faced severe criticism for the riots in the US Capitol earlier this month.
Melania also faced backlash with her heartfelt Twitter post.
One user wrote: “I’m so beyond thrilled your reign as first lady is toast. Good riddance and don’t let the door hit you on the way out.”
Another added: “A true First Lady is on her way.”
