OJ Simpson gloats about getting Covid vaccine jab triggering furious backlash

OJ Simpson sparked fury on Twitter after gloating about receiving the coronavirus vaccine.

The convicted felon shared the news about getting the jab with his 897,000 followers.

On Friday evening the 73-year-old former American football running back posted a picture of him wearing a face mask and getting the jab, he captioned it: "Get your shot. I got mine!!!"

So far the post has garnered over 4,000 retweets and 14,000 likes.

But some were infuriated to see OJ had already managed to get his vaccination, reports The Mirror.

Among the sea of comments, fans wrote: "HOW DID OJ GET THE VACCINE THIS EARLY."

"How???? You’re not essential nor do you have underlying conditions."


"Yeah that's just what I want to see, OJ Simpson getting his vaccine before my elderly Dad and immune compromised me."

OJ, who has always insisted he is innocent, was acquitted of killing his ex Nicole Brown and her friend Ron Goldman in one of the most talked about celebrity cases.

Nicole was stabbed seven times in the face while she and her friend were murdered in 1994.

OJ Simpson was released from prison in 2017 after doing time behind bars for armed robbery.

At the time, Simpson had attempted to go on the run after being accused of the brutal murders of his ex-wife and her friend.
