Wills’ desire to patch up relationship with Harry ‘shown in Father’s Day post’
Prince William's desire to have a good relationship with his brother Prince Harry can be seen by including a picture of the younger royal in a social media post, a royal commentator has suggested.
The Duke of Cambridge and wife Kate Middleton shared an animated post on Instagram to celebrate Father's Day on Sunday (June 20). To accompany the message, they picked four photos to show four different father figures in their lives.
Royal commentators Joe Drake and Molly Mulshine, hosts of the podcast Royally Us, spotted the one and only picture that showed both William and Harry with their father Prince Charles.
Molly mentioned: "William and Kate shared an animated post, which has a fuzzy photo of William in a military uniform with his kids.
"I just wish they released a HD version of that. They also had a photo of Prince Charles with William and Harry in there in animation."
Joe said: "Yeah I noticed that too.
"With us doing the show, all of the conversations out there about the rift between William and Harry it's like anytime William and Kate mention Harry, I'm like 'Oh that's good, they are still trying to keep this relationship going well'.
"They could have pretty well left Harry out of that collage."
The heartwarming post also showed a picture of Kate's father holding her hands and leading her down the aisle at Westminster Abbey and a picture of the Queen and Prince Philip with their great-grandchild.
The brothers' relationship is believed to have deteriorated in recent years, with Harry himself hinting at it in a number of TV interview.
But they will put on a united front when Harry returns to the UK on July 1 for the unveiling of a statue dedicated to Diana.
The pair are due at Kensington Palace in London for the occasion and it'll be their first meeting since Prince Philip's funeral.
