The country crooner, 55, who was honored Wednesday at the 16th Annual ACM Honors, has been coming clean about one of his some of the struggles that could have gotten in his way.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘I guarantee you, had I not gotten married to Faith at 29 year’s old,’ he told Zane Lowe on the Apple Music\u00a0podcast ahead of Friday’s release of his new album Standing Room Only.<\/p>\n
\u00a0‘A, I probably would have ran my career into the ground and B, I would have died or ran my career into the ground one or the other.<\/p>\n
‘It wouldn’t have ever been where it is now.’<\/p>\n

Tim revealed now that he and Faith are empty nesters, ‘we’re kind of like on our second honeymoon’ and are enjoying it.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The couple are parents to\u00a0 Gracie, 26, Maggie 25, and Audrey, 21.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Tennessee native has a track called Hello Whiskey on his new album, which he said was ‘very personal’ for him, although he didn’t write it.<\/p>\n
‘There’s an honesty to it,’ he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Tim and his band gave fans a preview\u00a0with a performance of Hold On To It on Good Morning America.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He said that after the pandemic ‘I really wanted some life affirming songs and songs that were positive and songs that had a good message about life and being a better person.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Humble and Kind singer told Zane that paying attention to working out and staying in shape is ‘therapy for me. ‘<\/p>\n
‘I try not to miss a day, ‘he explained.<\/p>\n
‘It clears my head and I actually get a lot of musical ideas, stage ideas, professional ideas , just family ideas, when I’m working out.’<\/p>\n
When he’s on the road, the fit musician continues his intense exercise regimen and is joined by his band members.\u00a0<\/p>\n
‘What that turns into is a sort of therapy session for all of us,’ as everyone shares their own issues.<\/p>\n
‘We always say on the days we can’t work out… we don’t feel like our show’s as good,’ he said.<\/p>\n
