After 12 busy years in the spotlight, Perrie Edwards is taking control and doing things her way. The Little Mix star, who parted ways \u201cindefinitely\u201d from her bandmates in 2022, is currently busy in the studio working on her solo debut album.<\/p>\n

The singer, who welcomed her son two years ago, is loving life and enjoying her newfound freedom \u2013 with a potential move abroad on the horizon \u2013 a source tells OK!<\/p>\n

\u201cFor the first time since The X Factor, Perrie can live her life on her own terms,\u201d said the source. \u201cShe and the girls faced a rough patch when Jesy Nelson left the group, so she\u2019s looking forward to having some time to focus on herself, her own career and her family.\u201d<\/p>\n

And it couldn\u2019t be better timing for the 30-year-old. Her footballer fianc\u00e9 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who left Liverpool FC in the summer, has signed a three-year deal with Turkish club Besiktas, leaving fans wondering whether Perrie and their son Axel will join him out there. The couple are also said to be considering adding to their family.<\/p>\n

Alex and Perrie, who started dating in 2016 and got engaged last year, currently live in a \u00a33.5 million home in Cheshire. Alex, 30, flew out to Istanbul to join his new club last week and thanked the team for \u201cthe warm welcome\u201d.<\/p>\n

Celebrating the news, he wrote on Instagram, \u201cExcited for this new challenge and can\u2019t wait to get started.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Perrie announced news of her first solo album via a TikTok video, telling fans, \u201cI\u2019ve been working with a lot of incredible writers and producers. It\u2019s so much fun and I\u2019m loving every minute of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
