Katie Price’s\u00a0bankruptcy hearing has been postponed again.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The star, 45, reportedly appeared in an online hearing in which she alleged she was ‘scared and anxious’ as screenshots on the hearing had been posted on ‘tattle sites’ – seemingly a reference to gossip forums.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Her appearance was held so the star could answer questions about her finances, in the wake of her lengthy monetary woes which began in November 2019 when she declared bankruptcy with \u00a33.5million debts.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Cameras are not permitted in court hearings in any form and screenshots of online hearings are banned and risk jail time if found to be doing so.<\/p>\n
The Sun reports that during the hearing, Katie\u00a0told the judge: ‘Your picture has already been put on this tattle site and they are talking about it…<\/p>\n

‘My anxiety levels have gone up. There are people on here who shouldn’t be on here. I’m just protecting you guys as well as myself.’<\/p>\n
An attendee in the remote hearing revealed she was ‘an interested member of the public’ and insisted: ‘I have not put [up] any screenshots.’<\/p>\n
The Government website details: ‘Court and tribunal hearings in England and Wales usually take place in public. This means you can observe them whether you\u2019re a journalist, academic or member of the public…<\/p>\n
‘You cannot record, broadcast or take photos of any hearing, no matter how you\u2019re observing it…\u00a0If they think it\u2019s necessary for the proper administration of justice, a judge can decide to hold a hearing in private, with no observers allowed.’<\/p>\n
When the woman claimed she had not taken screenshots, Katie stated: ‘You are here to sl** me off. I’m scared to be on here because of these people. They are awful people. I get anxiety. I’m petrified.’<\/p>\n
His Honour Judge Paul Greenwood demanded everybody leave the call, by ground of ‘losing control’ of the hearing, and postponed to next year.<\/p>\n
He said: ‘I’m not entirely sure I can maintain control of the hearing or the dissemination of the hearing. I’m going to exclude everybody who is not party and hear this short directions hearing in private…<\/p>\n
‘I cannot be sure that the integrity of the hearing is not being affected by the broadcast. In order it should be capable of being conducted, I’m going to direct it is going to be in private. Everyone who is not party must leave the meeting.’<\/p>\n

It was reported last month that the former glamour model, who has spent two years renovating her 19-room Mucky Mansion and even documented the process for a Channel 4 show, has moved out of the house.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In July, Katie hit back at trolls who questioned her over her bankruptcy, saying she still ‘owns her \u00a32.5million house’ and stated: ‘Never knock someone who is bankrupt, we all can go there but it doesn’t mean that it is all bad.’<\/p>\n
In 2021, the star was once again hit with a repossession order on the Mucky Mansion after failing to pay a \u00a3500,000 debt.\u00a0<\/p>\n
In April, Katie dodged a court hearing for a fifth time, in which she was set answer questions over her most recent batch of debts – this time \u00a33.2m.<\/p>\n
Katie had been expected to appear in person at the bankruptcy court in London and was going to be asked to explain how she plans to pay off her creditors.<\/p>\n
The glamour model \u2013 who has been on two holidays in the last few months including a trip to Thailand in March – will be asked to lay bare just how much cash she makes when she finally faces the music.<\/p>\n
She has avoided being grilled in person since November 2021 and today’s planned hearing had been moved from February.<\/p>\n
