Deputies were able to confirm that the pop singer was fine, and left her house soon afterwards. However, other sources told the outlet that, ‘several people called the cops after Britney posted the knife video…’\u00a0<\/p>\n
TMZ later reported that the call on Wednesday was actually made by\u00a0the LAPD Smart Team – a mental evaluation unit. Authorities went to the star’s house after the caller assured them that she wasn’t just a fan.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Spears’ attorney reached out to the deputies after the welfare check, and authorities explained that they visited Britney’s home due to the caller knowing the singer.\u00a0<\/p>\n
