Members of the United States Congress are reportedly working with officials to bring up to 100,000 refugees from Gaza to the States as refugees.

It comes after more than 100 Palestinians were killed in air strikes in southern Gaza this evening. The Palestinian health ministry has already warned that Gazan hospitals are on the verge of collapse.

Fox News is reporting that the motion was brought forward by the Democratic-led Congress, but Republicans are already working to introduce a countermeasure to block their entry.

“Reps. Tom Tiffany, R-Wis., and Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., will introduce the Guaranteeing Aggressors Zero Admission Act, or the GAZA Act, which aims to prevent the Biden administration from granting visas to holders of Palestinian passports,” reports the outlet.

Hamas fighters burst across the Gaza barrier fence into Israel in a horrific assault on October 7, killing 1,300 and abducting dozens more, including Americans.

Israel responded by cutting electricity and most water and stopped deliveries of food and medicine through its crossings before an intense bombing campaign which will soon be followed by a ground assault.

President Joe Biden will fly to Israel on Wednesday in an attempt to prevent war from consuming the Middle East.

He will impress upon Israel the need to limit civilian casualties before its tanks go into Gaza.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken has already said that Biden wants to “hear from Israel how it will conduct its operations in a way that minimizes civilian casualties and enables humanitarian assistance to flow to civilians in Gaza in a way that does not benefit Hamas”.

It comes amidst a new Al Jazeera report that reveals fewer Americans supporting Israel’s aggression against Palestinian refugees.

According to their research, “78 percent of respondents – including 94 percent of Democrats and 71 percent of Republicans – agreed with a statement that “American diplomats should actively be working on a plan to allow civilians fleeing fighting in Gaza to move to a safe country.”

But Republicans appear to be steadfast in their refusal to accept refugees from Gaza.

“We can’t let President Biden abuse our parole and visa rules to bring unvetted Palestinians into American communities the way he did with thousands of unvetted Afghans,” Rep. Tiffany said.

Tiffany said.

Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida has also introduced a similar bill that would force the Biden administration to cancel the visas of those whom he determines “espouse terrorist activity”.

“The Biden administration has the authority and an obligation under existing law to immediately identify, cancel the visas of, and remove foreign nationals already here in America who have demonstrated support for terrorist groups, and in many cases, even celebrated the slaughter of Israeli babies and the rape of Jewish girls,” said Rubio.
